Grown and cured in the heart of Mexico’s original vanilla region of Vera Cruz, the finely ground beans used in this sugar are the largest we’ve seen in two decades. They are magnificent monsters, cured to perfection by a fourth generation family, who also grows vanilla beans on their own land and purchase from other local farmers. Sadly, we have a very limited supply due to recent earthquakes, hurricanes and a major theft of vanilla bean inventory. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they rebuild and replant their stock.

Vera Cruz vanilla has a marvelous flavor and is unique due to the family’s exceptional curing process. This sugar will be perfect ingredient for your baking masterpieces.
