Our Cinnamon Sugar is made using raw cane sugar and both ground and stick Ceylon-type cinnamon grown in Mexico. Ceylon Cinnamon is made from the inner bark of the Cinnamomum verum tree (Mexican Cinnamonor - Canella). Ceylon Cinnamon is less than 5% of the world's cinnamon supply and has long been prized as a cooking spice. It is quite expensive compared to the more common Cassia variety. This Cinnamon Sugar makes the very best cinnamon toast. And, try it in a latte - it is to die for!
