These Ecuador Planifolia Vanilla Beans from the Amazon region of Ecuador are fabulous.  Most all these vanilla beans have small vanillin crystals on them.  Any vanilla having vanillin crystals is proof positive that they were grown properly, picked at peak ripeness and cured perfectly.  These small plot vanilla farmers, located deep within the Amazon forest should be proud of their amazing beans.
