Supposedly, it is a hybrid of Pompona, Planifolia and Tahitensis vanillas.  Due to the difficulty in procuring these beans that are grown in the Chiapas region of Mexico, we seldom are ever able to keep them in stock for very long.  They are very short and fat, and have a most unique vanilla flavor.
