Nicaragua - Pompona Vanilla Beans

Nicaragua produces some of the finest cacao in the world. They also happen to produce a small amount of amazing Pompona Vanilla Beans.  This vanilla is grown and cured by a small grower/curer.  And, I wish he had more, as they are fabulous! 

Growing elevation: 200-300 meters

Tasting notes:  figs,cherries and raisin notes
