Pompona vanilla is believed to be "the" original vanilla bean. Due to the difficulty in procuring these beans that are grown in the San Martin region of Peru, we seldom can keep these Peru - Pompona Vanilla Beans in stock. They have a delightful vanilla, raisin and fig aroma. These monsters are plump and cured to perfection!  Our extract brings these vanilla beans to a perfect place where you can add the extract to any and all your cooking.

Growing elevation: 1000 meters

Tasting notes:  sweet vanilla aroma with subtle complex notes of cherries, figs, chocolate, cinnamon, and raisins
