Fiji - Planifolia Vanilla Beans

Grown on both Viti Levu and Taveuni Islands in the island nation of Fiji.  These wonderful vanilla beans were first introduced to us by our friend Andrew McGregor.  He and Piero Bianchessi co-authored the Vanilla Handbook.  We have made numerous trips to these islands and always appreciate the dedication and hard work of these growers. 

Growing elevation: 50-500 meters

Tasting notes: sweet chocolate with tropical fruit notes
