Comoros - Planifolia Vanilla Beans - B Grade

The small island nation of Comoros lies just to the north of the reigning island powerhouse and grower/curer of over 60% of the world’s vanilla supply: Madagascar. These vanilla beans are every bit on par with Madagascar. The climate and geography are perfect for these delicious and creamy beans. These are what would be considered extract grade.  Similar to gourmet, just a lower moisture level.

Growing elevation: 10-200 meters

Tasting notes: creamy vanilla with pronounced marshmallow and chocolate aroma
